About Us

Established in 2006, Priory Contractors is recognised as the first choice for many contractors and agencies when selecting a contractor payroll solution. Our extensive knowledge of the temporary worker, freelance and contractor market allows us to confidently advise our clients on how to become as tax efficient as possible. As a leading contractor payroll solution provider we look after contractors all over the UK across various business sectors including driving, media, industrial & warehouse, telecom's, medical, teaching, public sector, I.T. and security from our head office in Rugeley, Staffordshire.

We recognise the financial benefits of contracting are highly attractive, but there are many pitfalls where the contractor could fall victim. Therefore, every contractor that signs up will be allocated their own dedicated relationship manager that will be on hand to answer any questions, explain procedures, advise on how to maximise their income and most importantly make sure that each and every payroll is paid efficiently and within HMRC guidelines. The relationship manager will make sure that each and every contract is set up quickly and easily. They will explain what paperwork is required, when it is required and who requires it. They will liaise with the agency and where possible implement their systems, which will avoid any additional paperwork and unnecessary time wasting.

We provide competitive management charges and operate a no work, no fee policy, there is no joining or (should it be necessary) leaving fee. We also ensure that all statutory payments, reimbursed expenses and holiday entitlement that the contractor is entitled are paid. We have comprehensive Insurances in place and offer additional financial services through our carefully selected partners.

When speaking to Priory Contractors Ltd in regards to their registration process they were helpful and willing to answer all my queries. Priory Contractors Limited didn't market their dispensation and processed my calculation based on the expenditure I actually accumulated during the week. They offer an over-arching contract which legally allows contractors to claim expenses, which unfortunately some Umbrella companies do not know exist. For such a young company they seem up-to date and knowledgeable in current industry affairs and Umbrella Supermarket have high hopes for them.
