Our margin explained

At Priory Contractors we don't charge you a fee as such; we actually retain a small fixed amount from the funds received from your agency / client; as we retain this margin at source, you gain tax relief on it. We do not charge any fees for setting up or closing down your account and we operate a no work, no fee policy so the weeks you are on holiday or between assignments you don't pay a penny! Our margins are capped as follows:

Weekly Processing £14.98* net (£24.50 gross as detailed on payslip)
Monthly Processing £42.82* net (£70.00 gross as detailed on payslip)

*tax relief calculated at basic rate, if you are a higher rate tax payer the relief you receive is even higher.

We also operate a banded capped percentage fee for contractors earning less than £200 per week. Although most percentage fees on the market are geared to take more money away from the contractor this is capped at our fixed weekly rate of £24.50; tax relief also applies.
